''The concept of the shoot was to tell the story of an adventurous, aristocratic, modern bride – whose interests are inspired by history, art, and nature. She’s well-travelled, and an explorer at heart. She’s not afraid to be different, and enjoys playing with the concepts of minimalism and mindfulness in her view of the world... We told her story through a colour palette centred around earthy browns and muted neutrals, with simple tablescapes balanced by dynamic floral arrangements. The overall look we wanted to achieve was one of understated luxury, accentuated with pops of boldness.”

Pompom Blossom provided hand-dyed silk ribbons in chocolate, burnt orange and stone, velvet ribbons in burnt orange , silk napkins and silk styling fabric in burnt orange and silk styling fabric in almond. When I colour-match using links and photos rather than physical swatches, a little bit of me always lives in hope so when I first saw these photos by Lydia Harper I must admit I danced a happy dance as the walls at Eurdidge Manor are a very distinct orange shade so the table silks had to be a perfect match!
