Joy Wed - Fine Art Wedding Blog, Heirloom Editorial with Amelia Johnson Photography and Pamela Baref

"A garnet ring, a family estate, the value of heirlooms and memories passed down through generations — these were our inspiration for our Irish countryside wedding. From floral design to lipstick to a vintage car, the quintessential color of love was the star that shone against the stone backdrop of the Irish castle, and the lush green and blues of the coastline. Pewter candlesticks and accessories as well as a lace handkerchief that’s been in my family for years seamlessly fit into the history of the castle and provided meaning behind the style and design. Ivory, gold, and candlelight added elegance to the table while letting the garnet details steal the show, and the little lamb posing with the bride and groom was a nod to the Irish countryside we had the delight of exploring."
